There are other .223 weapons than the AR-15, lest you people forget.
Let's say I stock fifteen thousand rounds of 7.62 x 39 for my SKS, and then I decide that I want an AK-47. I post on a board asking their thoughts on let's say the Vector built weapons. For the hell of it, I show a picture of my ammo supply. Would that be valid? You guys are quicker on the "BS" button than Sarah Brady's ideas for more gun control. |

No it's just that some of us know the cost of a pile of ammo like that and notice that the pic is cropped to only show part of the whole pic. And the background suggest a warehouse enviroment. Oh, and thats close to 100K rounds, or about $20,000 bucks worth at $200 per K. |

I counted 38 boxes. Thats just what I could see, thats not counting the boxes under that ones I can see. So lets do math. 38x1000=38,000 rounds. 1K of ammo is about $200. 200x38=7600. So about $7600 in ammo. They give you a discount on shipping I hope? No wunder you got a Oly. No money left for anything eles.

Some of us have to actually work and can't play on the compute all day.
38 boxes is the wrong answer. There is another skid below that (cropped photo). Someone already drove the nail in on that one I do believe. The photo was just eye candy for you. I have posted it a couple of times around here. Everyone seems to like it, lets the imagination run wild. But it's getting old. So now lets get to the Oly Arms part can we Why such a Love Hate relationship? I just needed something to torture and chrony some different ammos.  Any guesses on it's life span?? |

Find someone with an RR M16. Load up lots of 30rd mags and dump them as fast as you can.
I figure at 800 rounds a minute, 30 rounds takes 2.25 seconds. Add a four second reload to make a 6.25 second interval. Net ROF turns into 288 rounds a minute. I would estimate ten or so minutes of sustained mag dumps should warp the barrel or make it burst as the chamber/gov't profile joint. |
