Stag is CMT.
The forging marks are only an indication of who made the raw forging not the machining or assembly.
Forging marks will vary within all manufacturers.
Their barrels are marked Stag Arms, Twist Rate, 556NATO
Their limited edition 14.5" upper came with M4 feedramps and it was MPI and marked as such.
They all come with F-marked FSB
Many big companies like RRA, BM, Colt, etc, will buy receivers "in the white", so they will have their own anodizing contractor do their own.

Well worth checking out. I have a Stag Limited Edition 14.5" M4 type upper with all the goodies. Like it a lot.  No idea as to how the color will match RRA. Get the book "The Black Rifle II.  It goes into incredible detail as to how the M4 came about, and what all the marks and symbols mean.

Bingo! BCM uppers are better (for less money) than anything else I have seen.
