Can someone tell me what model Colt this is? It is a post ban, no Flash Suppressor, heavy 20" barrel, Match Target, fixed carry handle model. Is this a 6601? It is a friend's rifle and he may want to sell it, and wants an idea of what its value is. Anyone help?

I believe thats the 6700 (post ban configuration)
See it here I guess the 6600 is the one since it is an A2 UPPER --->This one

I have the exact same rifle... But my FFL dealer said my model was the 6700... What's thediff?

I suspect that it is not the exact same rifle. The rifle pictured in the first post is the 6601. The 6700 looks almost the same, however, it has a removable (as compared to a fixed) carryhandle. |

I have the same too, it's a MT6601. the difference between tha 6601 and the 6700 is the carry handle (fixed - removable)

 In the photo's, the receivers have a purple cast.

MT6601 – 1:7 twist MT6700 – 1:9 twist I have a MT6700 and the lower and carry handle are purple, upper is black. I’ve been thinking about getting a 6601 if I could find one. |

I would put the retail value of a Colt 6601 post ban, no-full circle carrier, sear blocked lower, non std. trigger group gun at around $650 in that condition, dealers are going to want to buy in at around $500
