as often as I can... usually 2 or 3 times a month.

200-400 rounds per outing.  Its my favorite gun and goes out everytime we go shooting.

not as much as i would like.  I try to go to the local (closest) range a few times a month to practice my handgun shooting, but i usually dont take the AR.  I dont think they like the EBR's there.  When I do take the AR out, i usually shoot around 200 rounds.

I shoot every weekend, usually 2 to 300 rounds for the AR, 100 for the 1911, and 100 for the 10mm.  That is, unless there's a highpower match, and then it's just 55 rounds for the week (AR).

2x a month,1000 rounds for the AR rifles,500 rounds for the pistol and thats spread between 5 rifles and 3 1911s,250 rounds of .308 as 1 of the rifles is an M14 type.It costs about $200 a month.I use wolf .223 nad .45acp and SA .308.

A few times a week, it's only 5 minutes from home. 100-200 rounds a session, not all 5.56 though. Precisely why I bought a Bushy 22LR upper for my DCM. I also take my SW41 (22LR) and new Beretta Storm (45acp)

Once a month 20-40, I’m more of a precision shooter then I am a range commando, however when I get the EOTech on the flat top that will all change.

Two or three times a month.

The total amount of ammo used depends on the firearm.  This is anywhere from 200 for a bolt action to 300+ for a pistol to nearly a grand for my M16A1.

By the way, I rarely buy ammo in any amounts less than 1G at a time.

Working nights again...   and it makes me wanna go

I try to get out once a week...and I shoot my 10/22 WAY more.  $12/500rds. of dynapoints
AR is usually 20 to 80 rds. depending on how much $$ I have.  I try to shoot slow, and take my time.  It makes up for the lack of ammo, kinda.

As often as I want...shooting range is my driveway.  The few neighbors I have are used to seeing us out with the AR, or lying prone shooting the bolt-actions.  They don't even look twice unless I have something out they haven't seen before.  Then they'll stop to check it out.

Ammo varies, usually 100-200 rounds a session, most of it 223.  The stepson would rather shoot the AR than any of the 22's.

1750 rounds a month or a visit?  Either way I need to buy my ammo where ever you do.  I shoot Wolf and I couldn't shoot that much for $200.

Lucky you!

i shoot almost every weekend and go through about 500rds in my ar, 1-2k through my 10/22, 1k through my glocks, 100-200rds through my beowulf, 1k through my 9mm carbine, 100rds through my .308, and about 300rds through my tomcat.

one at a time though and if there is more than one gun brought out the round count gets cut in half for each. gets really expensive at times but i usually buy in bulk and it only hurts one time

I work 4 10's, so I am off every Friday.  The range is about 10 miles, so I am there almost every Friday for a few hours.  Usually I am there by myself.  It gets a little more crowded on the weekends.  I always have at least one of the AR's with me, and shoot anywhere form 200 to 500 rounds.  I reload to keep the costs down.

Same here. It's not that I don't have time to go, it's just that I often end up finding something to do around the house that keeps me from going.

I am home from work by 4:00 PM everyday, so during Daylight Saving Time I could go every afternoon after work. There's plenty of light left in the day for shooting, and my range is only about fifteen miles or so from my home.

At least twice a week with my AR's, though lately I've been getting to the range early in the morning to get the most effect out of JLD .308 - I've been loading up tracer rounds to shoot at a 18 inch x 18 inch steel plate that is 440 yards away - A very good way to self spot one's own shot placement

Every week or 2. Usually about 100rds.

After the case is empty, it usually takes me a couple weeks before I'm saved up for another case of ammo (college kid, I haven't gotten around to stock-piling ammo) so that puts me at around 3 or 4 cases of Wolf a year for my AR's. The AK, M14, and XD-40 all eat their own ammo, but the AR's eat the most.

More often than not, I get out once a week, mostly during the middle of the week. The nearest rifle range is about a 1 hr drive, and I try to get there everyother week to shoot from a bench in a controlled environment.

On the other weeks, I set out on foot for about five miles from the house. From there I can set up targets at any distance I want to work on drills that I can't do at the range.

Most of the time I have an AR15 and a HK USP with me and about 100-200 rds.

Have an indoor range (50ft) with an outdoor range (100yds) lees than two miles from my house.  Now that I have a CLE .22 upper, I am shooting approx 150 rounds per week indoors.  The thing is a hammer.

I have too many ARs to take shooting   There are 2 that always go though   Between them they burn about 500-1K every 1.5 months or so.    I try to shoot when I can but realistically I'm lucky if I can get out once a month.

I've finally decided to take my first tactical rifle class this year so I've got to buy up some more XM193 for that.    I hate to dip into my reserve supply.    Hopefully after the class I can do some serious self study type shooting and actually improve my skills.   I'm sure the round count will go up dramatically with my credit card balance

I don't shoot rifle that much in the winter save for the .22s out back. Rest of the seasons I shoot about twice a month, usually about 500 rounds each time total thru all the guns I bring. Any more then then that I honestly start getting pretty sloppy and I know it. My accuracy starts going downhill and I get frustrated. So it's time to stop.

Handgun is year round as I shoot in the backyard, usually about 50 rounds per session unless it's a .22 then it goes to 100. I will occasionally run about 250 thru the pipe of my 1911 but I tend to start getting sloppy after that point also. The .454, I limit myself to 20-25 rounds or so and the .45 colt to whatever I like. Thats just for fun shootin anyways.

After 9/11, then reinforced by more recent events like hurricanes Katrina and Rita, I made it almost a religion to visit the range at least twice a week.  I take my kids and wife along, and make it a family event when schedules allow.  I devoted a lot of money to quality weapons, and significant dollars towards an ammo budget including stockpiled rounds, as well as practice rounds.

I try to put 400 - 600 rounds per week down-range through one or more of my AR's.  Another 50 - 100 12ga. slug rounds through my favorite shotgun, and another 50 rounds or so through my .308.  That's topped off with another 500 rounds of 9mm and .40SW through my Glocks...

Shooting stuff is fun, and I don't smoke or drink so I have extra money to put into ammo...  The UPS guy probably thinks we're nuts, as do the clerks at Academy and Wally-world when I wipe out the shelves of certain ammo.  I'm proud to say that everyone over 21 in my immediate family has their CHL, and solid marksmanship skills.  We all practice at the range to maintain a high level of proficiency, and this means lots of ammo.

If I could afford it, both from a time and money perspective I would shoot more...

I usually try and hit the range at least once a month, sometimes more. If i'm just target shooting, I'll burn up a couple hundred rounds for each caliber I'm shooting. When I go to competitions I burn way more depending on the event. I'd go every day if I could.

Judging by the pictures of your stockpiles I've seen, you'll be dead and buried before you run out at that rate. Do the math, and I'll take the excess.

I go out about twice a month and burn around 200 rounds per range trip. I'm a high school student, and a lot of the money from my part-time job goes to ammo (~20% ).
