I finally got to the range with the semi-auto M16A1 clone I built a little while back. 100 yards SR-1 targets. The pencil barrel does heat up quick but it cools just as fast as it heats up.
 I know that the 62 gr surplus is said to stabilize in some 1/12 barrels but obviously not mine. 62gr SS109 Radway 16 out of 20 rounds on paper  55gr Israeli surplus from southernammo.com All in the black  |

What about 62gr wolf. The center of gravity is different than the ss109.

I have not tried Wolf since I can get the southernammo.com surplus for about the same price. With shipping the cost was right at $120 per thousand.
