Well not really but I sure am glad a got at least one set before BM pulled them from their website.  Some legal battle with Colt if I remember right.  Does anyone else sell the double heat shield M4 handguards?  Not the CAV ARMS ones, I think those are just single hs.

Lookie at the old pics.

Oh yeah?  Well you go FA SHTF RATTI_TAT_TAT for 856 rounds and see how well they hold up!

Just kidding Stick.....LOL

Every since I got the M4's from BM, my son has wanted a set also.  I keep telling him that eventually I would like to get a KAC RAS handguard w/ a Tango Down VFG and he can have the BM's then, but you know kids.

My Bushy M4orgery has double heatshields too. It was my first AR, so I didn't realize that this was not the ordinary.
I guess I should hold on to them then!!

The handguards with no heathsields survive better than gas tubes  under sustained full auto fire...

Huh?

That is neat.

Interesting, my handguards melted off by the FSB while the gas tube just looked psychadelic, straight though, but funky.  BTW, single heat shield metal were fine.  Now if they could only shield the plastic from the FSB
