First, I thing it is a bad idea (IMHO) to mount a light at the 6 position. If you have to shoot over a wall you will have expose more of yourself to bring your light into use.

The LT levers are from shiny and have a very subdued color to them. LT levers are made of heat treated Solid Billet SS in house (not outsourced like other companies). This is a hard material to make black. ARMS levers are MIM (metal injected). This allows them to control the color, but MIM levers are far from ideal (as they can break).

You can get my custom SF lights with either a LT #17 upgrade mount or the LT 951 mount which gives you four mounting positions (2 high and 2 low). This is best way to go IMHO as you can put the light at the most desirable postion (1 o'clock) or down to the 4 o'clock position so you can operate the push button on the back of the XM tailcap.

To follow up on this, most of your Tier 1 SF groups are running LT gear (mounts, rails, etc). They have never complained about the "shiny/reflective nuts and washers."
