I have a bushmaster M4 and I would like to hook my shotgun up to it.  Does anyone know how to go about it?  Thanks

No you don't.

Well, if you still do - do a search for "Master Key." I'm sure there are websites deidcated to it, or you can find a thread pop up on here a couple times a month.

Assuming you do the paperwork, and that it is legal where you live, you will find it of limited or zero use.

Just because you've never been clearing a room and flushed a covey of quail, don't assume that it doesn't happen to the rest of us all the time.

Would I have to do paperwork because of the short barrel on the shotgun or is it just illegal to do that?

Barrell length.

Or, you could just have the shotgun stick past the end of the rifle.

But that would look retarded

You'll hook it up, shoot it once or twice, realize how retarded the setup it is and remove it.  Many have tried, all have come to the same conclusion.

Damn! For $1899 I could buy a Serbu Super Shorty ( www.serbu.com/shorty.htm )shotgun ($5 AOW transfer tax) holster it and have enough cash left to build another AR!

www.internationalpolicesupply.net/forsale.htm  Scroll about 1/3 ways down the page and check out the M203 grenade launcher converted to accept 12 gauge shells..

I keep flushing the pheasant, myself.

Which reminds me, I'm heading to KS for some pheasant in a month or so, and deer will be in, this'd be a great combo for that buck that spooks when I drop the bird

I just can't see the purpose in doing this , it would look good , but not pratical to me

In theory it makes a good breaching tool. In reality, it sucks.

Why are people so damn lazy and cheap that they refuse to just buy a second sling?
