Hi guys! I was just noticing that on the left side of my Bushmaster the upper and lower receivers are not perfectly alingned. By this I mean that near the butt end of the receivers, the upper receiver overhangs the lower receiver just a tiny bit. It is alingned ok everywhere else. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

No cause for concern.Comes down to who finished it.I have an upper that over hangs the lower on the left side by a couple of milimeters..wont effect function.

I have experienced the same... From my experiences, its the Bushmaster lower, not the upper thats a bit out of spec... My COLT lowers will align up with just about all my uppers perfectly, and all those same uppers align poorly with my Bushmaster lowers... The uppers are of different manufacturers too, so go figure...

Not "normal" , BUT it happens. It will not affect your rifles performance tho.
