Its illegal to have no ban weapons in CA??? I thought we could have anything???? |

You dont have to be LE to have No-ban weapons in CA. You just had to be quick and register your guns before the cut off date. |
|
|
|
Nah you were right only LE can own these weapons here unless you had them before the ban and registered them prior to the cut off date a few years ago. I got this one last November. |

It's a 1.5" weaver. I purchased a vertical fore grip but I don't like it very much so the rail stays covered. I think if I took off my bipod and moved the rail farther up it might be good for a flashlight, but for now I'll leave my setup as is. I don't need bling on my rifle and prefer the bare bones setup.

That's cool, I've been wanting to mount my nice combat flashlight, but have no rails to speak of. I think the full length rails are ugly, and wanted to leave my handguards in place. Where'd you pick up the rail section, and how is it attached? (also, how much did it run ya if you don't mind me asking) |

The red / white on the safe and fire selector , I used laquer sticks from Brownells . The Gray in the RRA logo , is just a crayon . The crayon method is easy and practical . Use a hair dryer to worm the receiver up and the wax will melt and run into the roll mark nice and even . Let it cool and buff away the excess . If you ever want to remove the color , just use a tooth brush and the hair dryer , comes right out. |

were did you get your Flash hider for your 9mm? |

I forget where I picked it up but it was probably like $10.
It is attached with two screws through the handguard vent holes |

Here's mine. So far my only AR, but only because I keep tricking it out and haven't bought another with a longer barrel and magnifying optic (hmmm, perhaps in .308...)
Anyway, here ya go, against the ubiquitous beige apartment carpeting. (it is a carbine) Incidentally, if any of you are wondering if the LMT SOPMOD stock is worth the money, I'd say it was. Sure beats the rattling uncomfortable Bushy CAR stock I had on there before. (It was a ban gun...I had to put some money into it to evil-ify it.) h.gif http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/baronfitz/IMG_0553Small.jpg |

I got this for my first black rifle. It's not all RRA but most of it is. I ran outta money after I bought it and havn't got to buy any magazines or ammo. so I havn't shot it yethttp://home.comcast.net/~drewcoolness99/gun2.jpg
