How do compensator's effect the accuracy of a bullet?  I purchased a 16in SS barrel with a permanently attached military look alike comp from Eagle Firearms.  I would seem that it would have an effect on accuracy because the gas isn't being released evenly which would cause greater pressure under the bullet but less pressure from above.

I would guess by looking at the number of competition shooters using it, that the effect on accuracy isnt enough to over come the benefit of the fater followup shot.
