A bull bbl is a large diameter heavy bbl used for precision shooting. It makes an Hbar look small.

Think in the neighborhood of an inch outside diameter.  Most are just a tad shy of it. some are bigger.

A heavy barrel is normally considered .750" at the gas block, while a Bull barrel is usually .935" at the block.  Then you have screw-balls like Alexander Arms that puts .905" blocks on their guns so you have no option to swap it out with something else.

While .750 is standard for non bull barrel gas block, so what is the standard diameter for bull barrels? or maybe most bull barrel makers make their own gas block (JP, CMMG, DPMS, RRA)?
