Buddy is Kcoating my upper Sun... Need to push out the FA pin and the pin on the drum for the rear sight.. Its an A1.. Any ideas on what I can use to punch em out?

you can use a drill bit to hammer it out, but do not drill it out. buy some punches, you can get a set for as cheap as $10.00

Yeah, it is much cheaper to but the right tool than to replace parts of an AR.

If you don't have a roll punch set, you can get a regular punch set from the hardware store.  I think I got mine for $11-12.

Drill bit works just fine as a punch.

Ill just use my head to hammer with.. Ill get the punch at the hardware store tomorrow.

Ge a drill bit of the correct size, cut off only the shank.

Grip the drill bit shank with pliers, preferably small vise grips.

Set aside.

Get a large vise grip, tape the jaws so they won't scratch.

Now, holding the small pliers and drill bit shank, use the large vise grips to press out the pins.  Adjust and squeeze, adjust and squeeze.  Easy.

A lot better than hammer and punch.
