The more I play with visable lasers on my AR, the more I like them.

When used by themselves, they are great for introducing newbies, especially women to the shooting sport.  The give that, "movie" feel.  And new shooters really seem to like it.

When used at night, it is pretty neat to see an unbroken red line pointing RIGHT where you are shooting.

When used in conjunction with a weapon mounted light, with the weapon's butt-stock tucked into your arm pit, and using a "heads up, looking-over-the-weapon" stance.... it is easy to see that red dot in the middle of the hot spot of your light.
