Hi, I am looking to buy one of these carry handles, can anyone identify what brand they are?   I see A-9 and A A markings.   The guy selling them thinks they are either RRA or DPMS.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

The bottom one is a Colt, my NIB Colt LEO has the exact same carry handle...

It could also be RRA or Bushmaster.

All three (Colt, RRA, Bushy) have used cardinal forgings.

Don't know about the others, but they are most likely high quality.

I already bought the Cardinal Forge Carry Handle in the pic.

You'll have to choose from the left overs.

Is that marking on your carry handle mean Colt?

I don't know... But Colt used them, and it works for me...

The birds head is Cardinal Forge
The "splintered A", is actually an "A" over a "H", and stands for Anchor Harvey and the successive letters are batch codes.

Bushmaster, colt, DPMS, RRA and many others use both company's products.

fact is, the forgings are a commodity part, kinda like a 2 x 4, and its impossible to tell who manufactured it from simply the forging id marks.

All those carry handles look like Colt to me.

Or maybe they are Bushmaster.

Damn, they very well could be RRA.

Now that you mention it, they could be DPMS.

My point is that once separated from the parent rifle, there's no way to tell who's carry handle is who's.  The markings are forging marks from the company that makes the raw forging.
