When firing full auto, which part of the rifle gets the most wear, or the one that gets damaged first? Is it the barrel, throat or bolt assembly?

Most apt to break out of what you mentioned would be bolt lugs.. The M16 is very reliable, but parts wear out.. After thousands  and thousands of rounds.

probably the target, that's just a wild guess though.

The throat is part of the barrel.  The barrel will go first if you dump beta after beata through the gun till something gives.

The extractor spring will go first.....ask me how I know...

27 mags (full auto in my issue A2) in less than 10 minutes will destroy the spring.  Once it cooled down I replaced the spring only and it ran fine.

If you are dumping lots of tracers I would say the barrel.
