I can't decide on which to get as my next rifle. I currently have a Bushmaster 20" A2. I don't know whether to save up for an M4gery or an A4gery or something else maybe. Is there any way I can decide what I would be happier with? I kind of prefer full length AR's to carbines but I have not shot a carbine so I don't know what they are like.

I use my AR to plink, paper punch, and hunt. I don't know if that would help decide what I would be happiest with or not.

I'd go for the M4gery...carbines are fun and since you already have a full size 20", why not?

You have a carbine, so get the rifle.  It seems pretty simple for us to spend your money......

Buy the carbine, and get a CMT flattop upper receiver for about 100 bucks.  Convert your A2 to an Aforgery!

Try a LW build. You will find it to be a go to gun, quick & easy handling with moa groups. Excellent for hunting. I use my LW 90% of time I hunt,

Go for the M4gery.  It's something different and you'll probably find that you enjoy shooting it more than your 20".

Get both, just buy the one you think you'll have the most fun with first.  Carbines are cool and 20"s are pleasant to shoot.
