Thanks for taking the time to read and contribute.

I shoot High Power matches and an thinking about doing some 3 Gun now.  My AR isn't really built for 3gun (1/2x1/4 sights, lead in the fore-end and stock, etc.)

I'm thinking of building an AR for use in 3Gun.  I'm just beginning, and like to keep it simple so I'll most likely not shoot in classes that allow optics, just my trusty irons.

ANY advise regarding practical tips and design (BBL length, fore-ends, etc) would really be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

for standard rifle or ltd rifle, all you need is a 20 hbar AR with std sights and a match trigger. I like JP myself.

The habar helps a lot on keeping the rifle where you want it and giving you a nice second tap real fast.

IPSC 3 gun is what I lrun in.
