Yes, but the muzzle blast might mess with the rail.

Edited for my spelling mistakes.

I would use a 10.5" barrel and then add a suppressor to keep the inside of your rail clean...

What benefit are you looking to gain out of a rail which is longer than your barrel?

i wasent looking for any benifits, i just read an article on the novseke barrel w/ krink and they said it used a 12" larue rail with a 10.5" barrel. I thought that sound kinda fishy, but i thought id ask here and if it was possible than I could use the 12" rail 16" barrel MRP/MRS and switch the barrel to a 10.5 with out having to get a new upper

Isn't the Krink device 2" or so?

10.5+2 = 12.5"...

Now I'm tracking with you, like Shivan said, I think its to make up for the longer barrel profile with the Krink.

Acually that article, in the Sept issue of SWAT, is a misprint. That's a 9.0 Larue rail that Jon is using.

Actually I'd still like to know how a 10.5 Krink equipped barrel with a 12" rail would work and how it would look.....

ETA: I just have a feeling that the Krink won't fit inside the tube.

He wants as much reduced muzzle velocity as possible, but still retain enough rail space for his Bi pod!
