How do you adjust the brass deflection on the AR15? Some of my uppers will deflect brass to the right and to the rear at a 45 degree angle which is ideal. Another upper will deflect brass to the right but, towards the front at a 45 degree angle. This makes picking up brass difficult when I'm at a range. As I have to wait for a line break before I can pick up my brass.

not easy..

things effecting ejection:

speed at which the bolt/bc goes to the rear (buffer weight and spring)

extractor spring

ejector spring

I'd just enjoy that your rifle is 'healthy' and you have no other "problems"

Or, if you're a cheap bastard, drape a dish towel over the action, use the palm of the grip-hand to keep it in place. Ejected rounds hit it, fall right at your feet.

Or, use a piece of cardboard, bent into a "V" if you're on a bench. Deflect all the brass in one direction.

You get the idea.
