I asked earlier what kind of upper to buy and fulton armory is seems to be the way to go but what rate of twist in the barrel works the best?  Is one more accurte than the other? They offer 1in7 all the way through 1in12. Any sugestions?

1:7 is the most versitile, it can handle anything from 50gr on up to 80+gr.  For a defensive gun it's the best choice.

1:9 is the most common and works well from 45gr up 70gr and about half of them will work with 75 & 77gr ammo.

1:12 is the old obsolete twist.  It was designed for the 55gr M193 (it will handle that and lighter bullets).

IMHO if you can get 1:7 then do it.
