any specific permits needed for this? just ransporting some parts thru parcel. just want to be sure and legal :)

I take it "transporting through parcel" means you're shipping these parts.

Only the lower receiver (serialized part) is the restricted part. You'll need to declare it to the carrier, and the receipient must be a FFL.

Another thing would be magazines and certain machinegun(NFA) specific parts, if you're shipping those, make sure that the destination does not have a restriction them.  

it looks like none of the above applies to the items you are shipping, so you're good to go.

just shipping them to a friend for safe keeping as i am still away on vacation.
bought them online and was shipped while i was away, will have the landlord ship them to a friend out of state.
yup, shipping thru parcel is what i meant. just plain barrels, maybe some complete uppers, buttstocks... no sears, bolts, lowers... still need to be FFL? say, shipping 10" barrels, this ok? the person receiving doens't own any firearm so it can't be assumed that he will be using it for that purpose.
would you know any specific sites where i can find threads or write up on this topic.

Like I said no FFL required except for the lower.

10" barrels are considered parts also.

as far as I'm concerned WA is the only state that specifically prohibites machine gun parts, so if that's not where you're shipping to don't worry about it.

You can always check out www.atf.gov and read through if you're that paranoid.
