Take a look at the photos below of my latest project.  A friend wanted me to thread the end of his Carbon 15.  I had to make a tool to remove the barrel nut (Bushmaster doesn't offer one).  The rest was easy.  I chucked the barrel in a Hardinge toolmakers lathe (HLV-H), checked the runout of the barrel with a test indicator and single pointed the threads to a snug fit for the flash hider.  I then made the knurled stainless spacer shown so that the flash hider would have something to tighten against.  If anyone would like help threading their Carbon 15 barrel, just IM me.

kewl, I want the tool for the barrel nut because I have carbon15 nut coming in to attach to a non-carbon15 upper. I am making my own version of the 97S.
