Greetings all,

I just removed my extractor and noticed some kind of blue plastc looking thing in the middle of the
spring????
Its out of my dpms 11.5 in sbr that I have been having extraction problems with after only about 500 rounds down the pipe...

So do you have a question?  Or are you just stating an observation?

try purchasing the d-fender or o-ring to cure your extraction woes.  It seems to have helped some out on the board...

I don't see any plastic in the middle of my extractor springs.

You could also try Wolff extra power extractor spring.

Yes.
It's a "Smurf".
They can be blue or black.
Replace your extractor spring and/or throw in a Crane O-ring.
It wouldn't hurt to replace the Ejector spring(often overlooked,
they Do break causing weak or failed ejections)
as well as the Ejector itself-Both are of minimimal cost.

well did some polishing with a dremal, brass rod and some inprovisation of the chamber..seems like the extraction by hand is a little smoother and easier than before..will go to the range next week for more tests..i used the same stuff as i used on my glock polish job,and it looks like a mirror now..
I am still going to get some new springs from wolff just to be safe..
Has anyone used the IOR 3x25?????wondering what peoples thoughts were on it??
