Guys, I have had and built 4 different AR15 over the years, but kinda got out of them and went with WW2 sniper stuff. Last weekend I started building another one. I purchased a A4 flat top upper with a 16" barrel, I was told it was a chrome lined Bushmaster and Bushmaster upper, Barrel is marked B  MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 H BAR. I know the barrel is Bushmaster, but is not marked as being chrome lined. Should it be? Also is there any marks on the upper to show it's a Bushmaster. I paid Bushmaster price for this and want to be sure.

It is a Bushy bbl. Unless it is quite old it should be chrome lined as now all Bushies bbls other than DCM and varminter are. They do not mark them as chrome lined.
