I recently got 2 A2 Uppers and I noticed something about the rear sights that has me wondering.  These are the first ARs I've owned.  When looking straight down at the top of the upper the rear sight is turned slightly to the left.  I can wiggle it back and forth a teeny bit.  When I raise the rear sight fully it seems to align itself straight and I can't wiggle it any more.  Does this seem right?  I have to wait for my camera to recharge before I can post any pictures.  Thanks.

Yes that slight movement is normal... Some move a little more then others, but that's the way it was designed... The cause (design) is a small hole in the left side of the sight that has a spring loaded steel ball inserted into it... The steel ball protrudes out and acts as a buffer/roller to help keep the sight aligned and to aid in the up/down adjustment...  That's why it seems to look like it is twisted to the left a bit...
