I aquired this stock 13 months ago.  Just recently I noticed that it is different than all others I've seen.
On others the area in front of the latch is rounded, not  squared like mine.  The other difference is that the sides of the sling loop are exposed on others.  Mine is solid.  Does anyone know anything?  I paid  $75 for the stock and grip.  There are no markings on the stock assy or tube either.

I would say that if it works, shoots ok and collapses/expands like its supposed to then it should be fine. Remember that the avg. person who sees this will have no idea its different than another stock, nor will they care.. But.. You know, and if it bothers you, sell it and buy another.

It's a piece of crap.  I'll do you a huge favor and take it off your hands for 10 bucks.

Go with what gmtmaster said.  If it works, go with it.  If it gives you a rash thinking about it, sell it to me for the $10 I offered.

Thanks guys.    I just thought I got questionable part.  It only took me more than a year to notice it.

Are you running a milspec tube, or a RRA/ Bushie/ Other clone tube?

From the picture it looks like a Colt, is it a mil spec tube?

It is not a Rock River Arms stock.

What does the other side of it look like?  Does it feel like glass filled nylon or does it feel like smooth plastic.  I saw a generic stock at a show one time and the plastic felt like it was a thermo mold plastic and not a thermo set like glass filled nylon.

Looks just like my Stag stock. I didn't think that Stag made the green stock. I never noticed the differences from my RRA stock either.

Leapers & or tapco.....     ....and or chinese airsoft products...            a dealer told me that US companies is hiding the truth that majority of the plastic AR15 parts (grips, buttstock, handguard) is being made in Asia (China, Taiwan,Korea,etc..)     and have it stamp with their U.S.  name

It's a six position.  The tube came with the stock.  The other side looks exactly the same.  The whole thing is lightly textured plastic.  It looks just like that Stag.  One other thing.  The retaining nut for the latch has no hole/roll pin.  Better get out the red loc-tite.

Thanks a million, fellow nutz!
