I found an early Armalalight as in A DIVISION OF FAIRCHILD AIRCRAFT AR-10 promotional video, note how the early rifles had SWITCHES for bolt releases, the first trigger components were CAST, Roll pins were used, the chargeing handle was on top, and the magazines were supposed to be DISPOSABAL, and it completely blows away the reliability myth, and what happened to the BELT FED OPTION!!!!?....

So the AR will outpreform  any uncleaned or unoiled known gun  in the world! I guess they never heard of an AK them. Now that I've said that I better run and hide back on the AK side!!!
