It sounds like an M16A1 upper from Colt.
It would be USGI. Does the barrel have any markings (if it comes with a barrel). WIZZO |

I can't see the barrel markings as they are covered with the ff tube (one of the parts I want
 ) it is a 16" light barrel. The lower is a Bushmaster with the L sn# (LAR, I think).

Well, it does sound like a mutt, but he DID use a Bushy lower so.......
