I know this has been posted before but I can't find it.  What's everyone's opinion of what parts you should keep on hand for your AR?

I currently have the following:

Gas rings
Extractor
Extractor pin

Thanks

an extra rifle

but if not

bolt
firing pin
gas rings
cam pin
firing pin retainers
extractor and spring
sear/disconector and spring
hammer and spring
trigger and spring
ejector spring
bolt catch

a spare lower parts kit would be good along with a extra bolt group, that would cover just about everything

I believe it was Mongo who said if you have even ONE spare part it must be built into a complete rifle. I'm following that lead

I keep a set of springs, pins, firing pin, cam pin & firing pin retainer.

I keep all of my spare parts in an extra rifle. It saves on storage space.

My spares are a BCG, CH, LPK and a couple of extra rifles.

But a BCG, CH and LPK will pretty much cover anything.

Also saves time when you have to install 'em.
