What is the deal behind the Colt Gold/Yellow Label rifles? I read a little about them on the biggerhammer website, and how they feature small FCG pins, small hole pivot pins, raised magazine release fence, A2 reinforcements, etc.

WHO here has a photo of one, or owns one? From what I read there, it doesn't seem too difficult to pick one up - but then why can't I find any on the net?

Anyone know something about this 'ghost rifle'?

BTT, also reading some stuff about how they were similar to White label rifles produced around the same time period.

I really don't know too much about them.

But it is my understanding that Colt made a few rifles with the standard sized pins available.

But I think they are quite uncommon.
