Is there a more or less agreed upon muzzle thread spec for the 6.8mm SPC?  I've seen a couple of specs out there and wondered if there is any consens as yet.

From what I've read, the military specified 5/8"x24 for the 6.8 muzzle (the same as .308).  However, there apparently are some barrel makers using a different thread, so you have to ask before buying.

Both the Phantom and the Vortex flashiders are available in a 5/8"x24 version.

The "5/8"x24" is the standard same as the 7.62N. I would avoid anyone using a different threading.
