Complete CMT M4 upper? Update - Shoots great!

Saw these at Bravo Company, can anyone tell me what kind of quality these are? How do the barrels compare to Bushmaster? I don't know anything at all about CMT.

UPDATE:

FINALLY got my RRA lowers and got a chance to bring the new upper to the range. Centered the BUIS and set the front sight level and it was right on at 25 yards. I ran a few magazines through it no problem. Hopefully I can get to an outdoor range soon.

Excellent quality. Don't hesitate to buy one. The bbl is most likely 4140 instead of 4150 like Bushy but it's chrome lined so it doesn't matter. That upper is T marked and Bushies are not. It also has the correct F marked FSB unlike Bushy. Plus it has a slide sling mount which Bushy does not. Good stuff

Bravo Company Sells good stuff. I would buy a CMT if I needed one.

I'd like to know for sure if the barrels are made from 4140 or 4150 steel. Has anyone contacted CMT and asked? BTW,I have a CMT bolt carrier group in a franken AR that runs great.

They are 4140 steel. I wouldnt worry about it though, 4140 is good quality.

I have used three CMT upper receivers and one complete barreled upper, the same as the one you posted from Bravo .

They are outstanding. The fit and finish are better than my Colt upper. I have never and will never hesitate to use them and Pual at BravoCo. will never let you down with his service.

Buy one and enjoy.

The barrels are 4140, but they are chromelined.

CMT Web page is a pretty spartan site, but I understand they are the absolute origin of many firearm- and AR15 in particular - parts

I'd say they are a solid name and worthy of your foundation parts (lowers, uppers, barrels, etc)

That's cool. I'm more interested in chrome lining than 4150 steel.

Thanks guys, I've ordered from Bravo Co. before so I know they are awesome...

. Looks like I'll be ordering me a new upper then. Even though I just built an M4 upper, I just can't resist!

I also am very sure that it is 4140. Since the bbls are chrome lined it won't make any difference.

I've got two CMT upper recievers. Got some Stag LPK's also. I'll be running CMT/Stag in all my rifle builds from now on.

I got one two days ago. She looks very pretty. Still waiting for a Stag lower so they can get married.

ETA: I got my upper from BravoCompanyUSA as well.
