Is it possible to remove a fixed Miculek compensator from a post ban DPMS carbine?

or you could grind down on the brake till you get the pins out if it was permanently attatched with pins.


you can see the spot were its welded over.

i've done this myself fairly recently.

what a PITA!!!

if you care about not beating up the barrel, you gotta really take your time. if i had to do it again, i wouldn't.

oh yeah, depending on the length of the barrel, if you do it yourself there may be legal issues, but i won't tell.
