google! I have found all sorts of targets that can be downloaded in a pdf or printable file.

The actual targets are the military type E and type D. The closest I can find is the NAR B27 silhouette

On the national target company site, go to Misc. Targets.
The Bobber target (Type E) is the same as the USMC Echo target (used at 500 yds.) I didn't see a Dog target which is the one used at 200 and 300 yds, but at least you have half of the equation. ETA: Looks like the ITT 3/2 is the Dog target, but they don't have a picture. But this site does (have pics): http://www.pistoleer.com/targets/competition/ |

I believe 20" by 20", check my post above, I edited it.
ETA: For the slow fire on the 200, you must hit inside a 12 inch circle in the middle of the target, FYI. Just draw it in yourself, that's what the range does. |

Diameter. Obviously, sight picture won't be any different, just aim center mass.

Hmmmm, You might want to email them about those targets. After looking at them, I'm not sure if the size dimensions they list are for the entire target or the silhouettes. Especially for the Echo target, which they say is for 50 yards. The silhouette should be 20" by 40", not the whole target.

Yes sir. I'll be going up to Penn State University this Fall, then I'll apply for the PLC program while there. Grades shouldn't be a problem, I have a clean record, don't use drugs, relatives in the Corps, and I can all ready score above a 250 PFT. I figure I can easily raise that during the first semester, seeing as I only have about 3 hours of school a day. Just gotta wait until first semester grades come out before I can apply in January. I've been wanting to do this since elementary school, so I'm chomping at the bit to actually put my plan in motion. |

Have the Marines gotten away from the old KD course of fire? 200, 300 and 500 yards?
If I remember correctly, we used to use 3 targets, E was the 500, the D was for rapid fire at 200 and 300 yards, can't remember what we used for the 200 and 300 yard slow fire. I would love to get some Dog targets, I loved getting possibles on them. |

Same course of fire, scoring changed a bit a few years back. You used to get points for missing, now it's 1 point for hitting, 0 for missing (At the 200 only, you get 2 points for hitting in the 12 inch circle for slow fire, 1 for the rest of the dog target). A perfect score is 65 points. I think that's how the scoring goes anyway, it's been awhile.
I think we used to shoot at a round 12 inch target at the 300 slow fire. Can't remember if that's what they still do or not. Loop sling is only used on the 500 yd. line now. Hasty sling for everything else. Sooo, course of fire is: 200: Slow fire: 5 shots sitting, 5 kneeling, 5 standing Rapid fire: 10 shots going from standing to kneeling(70 seconds, change mag after 5 rounds) 300: Slow fire: 5 shots kneeling? (I think) Rapid fire: 10 shots going from standing to prone(70 seconds, change mag after 5 rounds) 500: Slow fire: 10 shots prone with loop sling |
