You have a closeup of the other side of the reciever and a model number?
All hail to the 20". I prefer it to the carbean for the much smoother cycling, the longer sight radius, the increased velocity, and the asthetics, not to mention the space for goodies. |
|
i still don't own an M4.
Got the SP1, the A1, A2, and even an AR pistol. I'm not a very "tactical" person. I don't "get into" all the bells and whistles. Gimme a plain jane rifle any day over all that bling bling crap. |
|
Ok, I posted the other side above. enjoy! |

Wow, I thought I was the only one left who still enjoyed their 20" A2's.
Don't have a picture handy, but I sure dig my Bushmaster Gov profile. Chrome lined, accurate, and while nothing fancy, it still seems to fit the bill somehow. |
|
Here are my two AR's. Took the ST out this weekend and it was sweeeet.

Damn. I'm going to have to add a Colt to my collection. I have to ask though, what is with the curve on the trigger guard.

Magpul Improved Trigger Guard. |

He had, like, 3 of them. If he didn't sell one of them, he might relist it....Keep an eye out WIZZO |

OH YEAH, got the 20", I'll shoot a pic up as soon as it gets back to me (the upper).......
Its off getting a nice new 1/2x28 threads added....................................for $25.00 damn dolars................Sweet.. |

Sadly, the 20" barrel, the barrel the rifle was mean to have, has been overshadowed by a flashier, sexier, albeit less effective 14.5 incher. Bring back the 20!

All of mine are proper A2's. Never did go for the detachable rear sight/handle even though these are now acceptable for CMP SR. And collapsing stocks? Short barrels? NEVER!
My first issue rifle was the old A1 and while it was light, it didn't hold correctly for ease of shooting on the 350 meter targets. It was fine from 25 out to 100 meters. When we exhanged the A1's for the A2's, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven the next qualification even though the ASP only had M193. We still shot the same range type but the improved sight picture and much better stocks made it MUCH easier at longer ranges. Short range work didn't suffer either. |
|
Hmmm, as of right now, I don't have a single, complete 20" rifle or upper in my safe. A few 20" builds in the works, but nothing complete. They must be out of fashion or something.
|
|
I just bought a 20" upper from Bravo Company. Gov. profile bbl, chrome lined bore and chamber, a2 suppressor, Bayo lug, flat top version. My eyes are letting me know it's time for low powered optics. Couldn't be happier! Unfortunately I don't have digital camera yet. Now I'm researching back up sights and optics.
Damn, I just talked myself into getting a camera this weekend! |

Here is a pic of my 20" and some friends........
First time posting a pic so here goes......... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/hakcobra/Dcp_1016.jpg |

Someone stole your bayonet lug and flash hider Kidding aside, I like the Govt. rifle. I love a plain jane 20 inch A2. Simple is good. Pete |

|
Does anyone have a picture of a 20" with a collapsible stock? I seem to remember a thread a while back that was about these, but I can find it in the "search". I think there was some photos from the Canadian Army.
Thanks, DBAR |
|
DAMNIT, this means I need to get a 20'' A2. Its calling out to me.

Travis:
You have entirely too many (if that's possible) nice rifles. I thought it was limited to the AK variety but apparently there's no end or limitations to the sweetness in your gun safe. WIZZO: Nice purchase!!!!! To everyone else: Love all the nice 20"ers. Sadly, I got rid of mine because it was an HBAR thus it was too heavy and I have a shooting class coming up so it got traded for another M4-style. I surely miss it though. Scott |
|
The only 20" rifle I have is an original Colt SP1.
I hate to say it but I have only one safe queen and it's the queen. Colt_SBR |

Damn...I want one so bad. I have had an itch for a standard 20'' since day one. I bought a flattop 16'' carbine...but I knew I would one day have a 20''. Just because. Now I want one bad.
AHHH and I was about to apply for a SBR. Decisions decisions. |
|
|
I love my 20!! It looks just like yours Travis. Same model and all. I will have to wake her up and take a picture.
