I picked "no". And I agree, the .223 was made to shoot groundhogs and stuff. I'd probably rather be shot with a 7.62x51 than a 5.56x45, from a medical/surgical standpoint.

[shrug] Lump has been really coming off as an arrogant ass lately, and from above posts (some edited) I see I'm not the only one to notice. Not to attack you, but out of curiosity, can I ask why you even responded to Lumpy's post? It wasn't directed at you. It was directed at someone asking a completely demented question (considering the lack of women in combat arms). Plus, if you really believe (and care if) there is a CoC violation (and you care enough about it) then you should contact staff, or IM Lumpy. Just curious - feel free to ignore. |

Just an observation, I've been guilty of it too. People say things on the net that they would never say in person of course. I do my best and so do many others to only type things I would say in person. 'course I can be a dick in person sometimes though.....I still maintain this is the worst thread ever, which is why I don't mind going so far off topic

Well, Lumpy has his own delusion about why some people expect better behavior from Moderators than the standard he sets. I personally chafe against people with authority over others being smart asses for no other reason than they can, breaking -- or heavily bending -- the rules they are to keep. Lumpy frequently is just a smart ass, but not in a netural way -- he likes to insult people. See CC #6.
