I see in Shotgun news that Sarco has early M16/AR15 kits for sale with no foreward assist are these any good? Has anyone ordered one of these kits? I was thinking of putting together an AR-15 that would look like the early M16 with no foreward assist. I wanted a early Vietnam looking AR-15.

i've never used the kit you mentioned. however, my experience with sarco has been poor. customer service is shitty. they sell items that aren't in stock. they sell shit that jsut doesn't work, quality lacking, advertised as "drop in" and actually required much gunsmith work.

I'd go elsewhere.
