Good luck finding a Colt Flat top 9mm upper, they made a very low count special run of them
However you can put one together, The original flat top Colt uppers had a hole for the gas port and were unmarked where the usual forge markings were RRA sells these type recievers, |

Will the Rock River fit the Colt lower? I was told that it won't due to rear milling differences in the lowers.

I bought what I think is a colt 5.56 MG upper from CMMG (I am very happy with it).
I put it on a rock river lower without any problems. The fit was initially very tight, but not anything I had to modify. the fit on my RRA upper and lower was tight when I got it as well |
