This is on my new upper, it was alright earlier today, and i flipped the sight over once and its messed up now.  When I have my A3 sight on the wide aperature, its solid as a rock, but when i flip it back to the narrow aperature, it is loose, as if some spring (that i havent yet figured out) is out of whack.  The sight will freely rotate forward and back about 20 degrees, rendering the distance aperature useless.  Anyone know what i might have done to get this thing all fubar, and have any hints to fix it?

Thanks

Hah, no joke.

Its a detachable carry handle, from J&T. (Cardinal forge perhaps? if i can make out this little marking...)

Yeah, I took the rear sight apart and believe it or not, the flat sight spring had broken in two pieces, but i couldnt see it under the aperature.  Apparently, the spring was too long (fore and aft) so it was under too much stress, and broke while flipping the sight.

Good to see you figured out the problem. Finding problems like that in a non SHTF scenario is always a plus.
