does the troy muzzle brake brake affect accuracy at all?

It has been said by some techno-shooters that all muzzle devices (hiders and brakes) have subtle hindrance to accuracy.

But unless you are a precision shooter, the answer is no.

If you are, microns matter, and you would likely have a custom tuned, high-dollar barrel to match your high-end rig.

i was wondering because i read this

"Definately louder, could have a negatice effect on accuracy, but negligable, as with any muzzle obstruction (muzzle break compensator etc.)." owner of oly

and

"I have one and like it very much. I like the change in tone that comes with it. I haven't had any problems with it coming off either (a little locktite on the set screws helps). Though I know it wasn't designed/marketed to be a flash-hiding device, the ball of flame that came from my muzzle significantly decreased when I installed the Oly muzzle brake. I experienced NO noticible difference in accuracy with the brake on (cheap ammo-now that's a different story). I won't thread my barrel. I've been happy with it just the way it sits (w/muzzle brake). When my barrel wears out, down the road, I'll replace it with a threaded one. But until then, I'm very happy."

just wondering if there was any truth to it

supposedly if you overtighten a muzzle device, that could effect your accuracy.  That's what I have heard anyway?

Yes, because shooting with one hand while masturbating with the other makes the barrel move back and forth.

Muzzle porn will not be tolerated.

Any gun equiped with a Troy meat tenderizer, is by nature, not a bench rest gun.

You looking to shoot pretty little groups you can measure center to center with calipers or having a gun capable of ending a threat right now?

would a vortex shoot prety little groups or is it the same as the Troy MB

Why do you need something on your barrel?
