I'm going to post one pic everyday thru the week of a US soldier in the sand box.  Lets not forget whats going on over there.  If anyone has any they would like to add.............It'll just be that much better.

Our little town of Council Bluffs, Ia, which is directly acrross the Missouri River from Omaha, found the news that an alumn of our Catholic high school was killed in Iraq.

He was a member of the 2nd Marine Reconnaisance.  I have a picture of him, but not sure I should post it if it shows his face.

Let us remember his sacrafice...

That was taken during OIF, when a det from 2nd Recon was attached to TF Tarawa (2nd MEB).  The key indicator is that wearing JSLET, NBC suits, forces in theatre stop wearing those mid-Apr 03.  The Det was responsible for security of one of the bridges across the Euphrates

Is that a bag of Skittles? I guess as the Iraqi looks up to "see the Rainbow" (per TM) thats when 7.62 holes make invisible souls.

yes it looks like skittles. They come in the MREs as well as m&ms and other things.
