I will be getting a Surefire light for my 6920 but can't decide whether I want the M500 or M900.

Any opinions and pics would be appreciated.

I bought the M900 since I was going to add a vertical foregrip anyway and figured I'd get it all at once.  I also like the blue "entry" LED's it came with, something I don't think the 500 has.

i'm pretty happy with my m500.

i don't do vfgs or exposed wires, so my options are limited

The new M500's DO have LED "entry" lights. The ventilation isn't that bad for those of us with semi-auto. Federal and local law enforcement use them. I do find them quite heavy after installed. As Lumpy mentions, a 952 would probably be your best bet. It's lighter and less expensive.
