When I shot the M16 in the military I remember the stock noise when firing a round. I recently purchased a RRA with a CAR stock and the first time I shot it I was prepared for the "noise", but it wasn't there.

It lets you know its cycling. If it really bothers you put a little bit of grease on the spring and the sound of it will go way down.

My A2 doesn't make any noise.
I don't like the collapsible stocks. Don't feel sturdy enough and I don't use body armor. I need a solid stock that I know won't fail. |
