Can anyone tell me where these are available at a decent price and good quality?

Define decent price? All will be pre- Sept "94, so depending on condition (new or well used) will determine the ultimate price. I do know of a few real good deals provided to some in you neck of the woods.

Regardless of the brotherhood atmosphere that we try to encourage here, the almighty dollar will probably prevail and as soon as somebody finds out your are in one of the Communist states, they will attempt to butt rape you.  Any decent person would work up some type of trade for a noban receiver, maybe you throw in something a little extra, like a LPK, but it shouldn't be outrageous.  Many here have worked out trades that were equitable for both sides for their pre '94 receivers.

If you live in another state and move to NY, can you take your post-ban with you?

you can try Ed at www.urban-armory.com he found me a great deal. delivery was a bit to be desired but non the less.

I assume you can take a postban, but check in the HomeTown forum for NY for the best info.
