Apparently at some point in the late 90's, like around '97 or '98 Colt stopped chrome lining the bores of their 1/9 barreled ARs including the 6721. I've got a 6721 complete upper receiver with a barrel date stamp of 10/97 and it isn't chrome lined.

Does the current production 6721 that is marked LEO restricted come with a chrome lined barrel?

Thanks,
Don.

All "LEO" barrels are chrome lined.
The only "civilian" CB is on the MT6400C.

I have an LE6920. The barrel is marked C MP, what does this mean. I also own a MT6601, that barrel is also marked C MP. Is this MT6601 a chrome barrel, and chamber?
Thanks

C= Colt

MP = magnaparticle tested.  its a form of non-destructive testing to find flaws in the metal that cant been seen with the eye. its an old testing method.
