Ya, I know what you mean. Went to UW-Milwaukee after USMC, now that was a culture shock  Me and some prior service buddys always referred to the commons area as "Red Square" WI, FL, OH and all other battle ground states gotta vote early and vote often . . .no excuses! |

I think it's safe to say that most every one here voted for Bush?...
I think there's a bigger turn out than there has been in a long time. And I hope they voted Right.. |

Good good good...........i actively love to hassle the liberal students at my school, as I am a 19 year old Republican that thinks for myself, and doesnt rely upon some BS media sources for my info. Christ, sometimes it amazes me how easily college kids can become disillusioned by lies and propaganda.

I avoided the lines and voted by mail 2 weeks ago.
Got into a discussion with a "elk hunter" today. I told him he might want to stock up on some ammo, depending on how the vote comes out today. He said, "Oh I think the NRA is making something out of nothing. I don't think Kerry would do anything like that." I told him he might want to look at Kerry's voting record, as he already has tried. He said well, Bush doesn't have a record, so I guess we don't know what he will do. I explained that if Bush were anti, he wouldn't have signed the officers national carry law and he would have called on congress to reinact the Assult Weapon Ban. Then he says that he doesn't think that anyone needs those type of weapons anyway. And he doesn't want terrorists to be able to get an M-16!! I calmly tried to explain the difference, but I'm not sure he understood!! My God, he's probably going to vote for Kerry!!!
