I want to formally introduce myself to all of you.  I am a new AR-15 Owner as of yesterday (October 30th) and am already in love w/ my new toy.  A member of another forum in which I am also a member made reference to this site and recommended that I join up.  I live in Southwest Florida, I'm 26, am a father of two (2) beautiful daughters, and I'm a Network Engineer for The Hospice of Southwest Florida.

I look forward to learning all I can from all of you and possibly becoming a valuable member to these forums.  I'll do my best to learn all the Forum Rules, all the acronyms in use here, and ask that you all be patient w/ any n00b questions I might throw all yall's way.

Here's a picture of what I just bought.

Looking forward to learning from all of you so I can get the most out of my new found hobby.

Regards!

Thanks guys!  Already prepared w/ the slack due to my User ID.  It usually takes awhile for ppl on forums to look past my User ID and I'm totally open to any opinions, flaming, or what have you.  Won't scare me off one bit.

Once again thanks for the welcome!

While you are here you realy ought to consider paying for the Team membership.  The searching ability ect are worth thier weight in gold.  You can learn a lot searching old posts rather than re-asking questions that we have covered many time.  I was not a team member for several years but now that I am I realize what I was missing.  Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the insanity  I'm sure you'll fit right in.  Dude, I'd have to say that your first post is a textbook example of an awesome first post: polite, humble, not asking stupid assed questions, and a pic!

Oh, now that you are here, be prepared to be assimilated...you can't resist ARFCOM

Hi MormonComputer. Welcome.

Does your name imply that you own more than one computer?

I recommended he come over here from another forum after seeing that his wife politely let him spend some money on an AR15.

Hey, atleast he's not an airsofter :)

MormonComputerZ, welcome to the forum.    This is the screen name I typically use on gun oriented forums.   The other screen name is generally a gaming oriented name.

Naming a mormon without a gun is a lot harder. No wonder there is very little crime in Utah...
