I am putting together a Range bag and a "Go to" bag as well. What Items do you have in your range bag? What do you keep in a Go To bag?

Nothing I ever need at the range. When ever I need something it is not what I have in my bag.

Ammo.

It is always interesting to fill your bag with loose ammo of all types, go to the range, set the bag down next to someone, and open it and start loading mags.

People give you funny looks.....

I picked up a Bushnell laser range finder today and found a spotting scope that I want as well.


SCREWDRIVER!!! After a few jams at the range last time (a rented gun) I picked up an electricians screwdriver!! It has a heavy plastic coating on the full length and only the tip is exposed. That way it does'nt mar any thing up when having to reach into the upper.

Spotting scope and tripod , Cleaning kit, 2 sets eyes and ears, stapler and extra staples,  Targets, Mags, spare patches, AR repair kit, Cigarettes, Lighter, Small Tool kit and rags.  

They dont make a range bag big enough for the shit I haul to the range

There is a bunch of stuff on the bottom.  I'm scared to go there.  Looks like grass seeds, dead mosquitos, blown primers, chewing tobacco and pop tops suspended in a quality lubricant.

The other bag has ammo and mags in it. Currently packed with 4 M14 mags, 8 FAL mags, 4 AR 30 round and 4 20 round mags.  Total ammo is around 400 of .308 and 600 5.56.

I also bring an adjustable rest w/buttstock bag and try to remember to bring some guns.

This aint a "go to " collection cuz nobody could go anywhere carrying all this shit.
