Hey all. It's my first time posting on this site but I thought some of you may like to know about the BM factory wait. My wife just ordered me a BM 16" A3 carbine with a fluted barrel. She went through a local dealer and she was told that it was going to take 10-12 weeks! I'm currently in Iraq and this rifle is to be my welcome home/Christmas gift so the wait is not a big deal to me. I just thought that some of you may be getting ready to order fom BM so be prepared.

I ordered a BushyA3 16 inch from AIM 2 days ago

They said there is currently a 3-4 week wait...they mentioned something about Bushmaster giving priority to the military (which is good) and that there is a shortage of barrels or something to that effect...they made it sound like that was the choke point...Bushys being made as fast as the barrels arrive.

Who knows...maybe my order might be on that long of back order due to the fluted barrel. Maybe I should of had it sent to me over here so I could get it faster.
